Not knowing how good you have it

I sometimes never stop an think how good our life really is. I mean yes I want a iphone and a new ipod and some jimmy choo shoes but you know I have a phone it works its not the best but it works. I have a ipod and I have shoes but they are not the best ones, the ones that cost $500.
In Nickeled and Dimed the writer shows how to realize how good you really have it. She went to jobs that pay minimun wage, and try to get by with the money it paid. In the book there were families that live in hotels and that walk job to job just to get by. The book talked a bout how families would use the pay check just on the bills and just eat what they found or had. It was so sad. People these days dont realize that they have it good and some people are barely getting by. Today this world is so hard to live in. People say we have it better because we didnt have to work 12hours a day or go to the cotton feild every day. The world is so different these days. The people that work 2 jobs to pay for a house, food, clothes. Others people just walk around like they own the place just because they have money. We are all equal and all the same. People need to realize life isn't always going to be that easy.
